I spend time between two place I cherish, the mountains of Lincoln, Vermont and the coastal village of Cape Three Points, Ghana. Working in oils I focus on sharing my experience observing the natural world, the values, stories and vibrations of light in landscape, seascape and figurative works.
Relentless Beauty is what I see in Bermuda, each viewpoint offers a liberation through sight. The clarity and vibrancy of the water, the variations in the clouds offer not only endless compositions to reimagine, but a sense of awe every time this magnificent gem lights up. This collection of work showcases my second observation of this island, though its a struggle to replicate the true colors, I believe it is a worthwhile attempt to capture a just hint of what can be seen here. – Rory Jackson
