Although students show their work throughout the year at their College Gallery they are excited about showing their work the larger, central space that the BSoA provides.
The Art & Design Program is a two year program leading to an Associate of Arts Degree in Art & Design. This is regarded as a transfer program and not an end in itself. Graduates continue their studies overseas specializing in their areas of interest.

Participants for the BSoA Invitational are invited by the Exhibition Committee to take part in this joint show. Artists are carefully selected to include those who do not often exhibit at BSoA Galleries. The 2007 Invitational included Johanna Flath (watercolour & pencil) Jon Faukner (ceramic), Peter Matcham (photography), Heather McDonald (oil on canvas), Caroline Troncossi on canvas), Chesley Trott (Bermuda cedar sculpture) and Sharon Wilson (pastels).

The 3-judge panel, all of whom are full-time professional photographers, judged the entries based on the BSoA Exhibition Committee’s theme “Shape, colour and Texture”. Recognition for the Best of Show, 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place winners were awarded in both the professional and amateur categories.
